Performance opportunities
Nicola and Jon were the first musicians to be invited back into the hospital since the start of the pandemic with special permission to perform ‘live’ on the main corridor. The purpose was to help spread some Christmas cheer to hardworking NHS staff and patients as they were passing by. Have a peek here Sleigh Ride & Winter Wonderland
This event was arranged with special permission by the York Hospital’s Arts Team. It also helped to raise money for the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital’s Charity.

NHS Carol Service
The York Wellbeing Choir was invited to sing at the Annual Carol Service in celebration of the NHS in December 2021. The event was organised by York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and sponsored by York and Scarborough Hospitals Charity. We felt privileged to be part of such a wonderful event, and we were very moved by the Carols, poignant readings and powerful testimonies of various NHS workers. We were in awe of all the NHS staff and those supporting them in various other roles. How fortunate we truly are.
